Export private key

I think exporting private keys has both advantages and disadvantages. But if you plan to do it I would like to be able to choose at the beginning before importing a private key whether or not it can be exported. But really, I wouldn't want it. Because storing private keys is the responsibility of the user. If one day frame can export private keys, I think there will be more risks. If a third party has access to that PC or laptop, it creates a risk.

This is super needed. I would love to make Frame my only dev wallet due to the functionalities and the amazing overview. This is what's stopping me from fully moving over.

Wow. I hadn't noticed before that this feature was missing. It seems to me to be sub basic and even essential in such an application.

It has been over a year since it has been marked as planned. Any updates?

I had wrongly assumed that Frame supported this, so I moved my PK from MM to Frame and uninstalled it. Now I can't export the PK so I can't add the same account to my mobile wallet

As far as I am aware, you cannot create a new wallet using Frame. You can only add wallets you already have - i.e. you import the private key or seed phrase to Frame (or a device).
Therefore, you don't really need to export a private key you had to import to Frame in the first place.
Of course if and when they allow to create a new wallet in Frame, then export should be definitely part of it (otherwise it would be dangerous to create it).

J: Yep you are right, this is our current plan both items on the road map together. This won't be in the next release but is one of the features we have slated for the following.
