Eden Network is an Ethereum relay service that offers automatic MEV protection for all ethereum mainnet transactions (as well as other features).
Problem is that in Frame it is impossible to add it as a separate network. The only way to add it is as a custom RPC under Ethereum Mainnet.
However, for certain transactions (such as those who need high priority and need to be confirmed fast) it is better to be connected to a "standard" Ethereum node and not via Eden. Therefore, users need to switch back and forth sometimes. And users need to know if they are connected to ethereum via Eden or another RPC.
If you add it as a custom RPC under Ethereum Mainnet (the only way you can add it now to Frame), you need to go constantly to the settings in order to see if you are connected via Eden or via another RPC. And you need to go there if you need to switch.
It would be more user friendly and easy to just be able to add it as a separate network and then be able to switch via the network selector (same way you switch from Ethereum to Arbitrum or any other network).
Metamask allows users to add Eden as a custom network even when Chain ID is 1 (Ethereum Mainnet). For some reason, Frame prevents users from adding a separate network using Chain ID 1 since it is reserved for Ethereum Mainnet.
